What first drew you to photography?
Each year for summer vacation my family would go on a road trip in our RV. Some of my favorite places we went include Northern California, Colorado, and Montana. On our first trip, I quickly realized I needed a way to remember all of these beautiful places, so photography became my favorite way to document my travels!
What is your favorite thing about being a wedding photographer?
For as long as I can remember I’ve been obsessed with documentation – I never want to forget the places I’ve been and the things I’ve experienced. This is why I love photographing weddings – it’s such an honor to have the opportunity to document your day through photographs that you’ll cherish for the rest of your life. I’m committed to telling your story in a way that will make you relive this day over and over each time you look back at the photographs.

I’ve been photographing weddings since I was in high school and I immediately fell in love. I went on to receive a degree in Commercial Photography from Appalachian State University and officially launched my business in 2016. After graduating, I interned for a well known photographer and learned all about what it takes to run a successful photography business, and I’ve been full time ever since!
What is your spirit animal & why?
Foxes are my spirit animal alllllll the way- I just love how mysterious and beautiful they are. Plus, we have the same color of hair! Need I say more?! Also, do yourself a favor and follow @Juniperfoxx on Instagram – you won’t be disappointed 😉 Can I just go ahead and have a pet fox, please?
